a) Surface Preparation:
Ensure that tiles are firmly bonded and fully cured so they do not shift during grouting. On surfaces where tiling has been completed, remove all dust, dirt, debris, and leftover cement from the joints using a fine stick or brush. Make sure the joint depth is at least 2/3 of the tile thickness. Moisten the cleaned joints with a damp sponge before grouting.
b) Product Preparation:
For 20 kg of 193 T Joint Ultraflex Grout (3-12 mm), add approximately 6–7 liters of clean water and mix thoroughly, preferably with a low-speed mixer, until a lump-free consistency is obtained. Pay attention to the water amount to avoid overly wet slurry, which can cause cracking, premature wear, and dusting. Allow the thickened grout to rest for 5–10 minutes, then remix for 1–2 minutes before use. The prepared mixture should be used within approximately 1 hour.
c) Application Method:
Fill the joints using a hard rubber trowel or rubber-backed grout float. To ensure complete filling, first move the float parallel to the joints, then diagonally. Remove excess grout from the tile surface with a damp, soft-edged spatula. Depending on ambient temperature, wait 15–30 minutes, then wipe the surface with a damp sponge to remove any remaining fine grout layer. Do not start cleaning the grout too early. To avoid color variations, avoid using an excessively wet sponge. Clean the sponge frequently during the process. On walls, the grout dries in 24 hours; on floors, it can be walked on after 48 hours and opened to pedestrian traffic after 7 days.
